3D STYLISH NAVIGATION BARS IN PHOTOSHOP
by Jonathan Couch
1. Create a new Photoshop Document, I made the background white and I made it 200X350 Px. Make your way over to
the “Rectangular Marquee” tool and make a Selection like the one below. Then fill it in; with the fill tool of course, with white.
2. De-select it and then double-click on that layer do your layer style window shows up. Make your layer style as follows:
Drop Shadow:
Opacity: 100%
Distance/Spread: 0
Size: 1
|
Inner Glow:
Blend Mode: normal
Color: White
Opacity: 75%
Choke: 0
Size: 1
|
Gradient Overlay:
Blend Mode: Normal
Opacity: 12
Style: Reflected
Angle: 90
Scale: 119
|

rectangular marquee” tool. Make two selections like the one in the picture below. (If you have made one selection,
you can add to it simply by holding down the shift key.)
4. Select the Gradient tool, and set it to Foreground to Transparent. Make your foreground color anything you want.

about 40%. You should now have something that looks like this:
5. Make some Red text now on a different layer, and then place it over the darker areas we made. Now all you have to do
is duplicate the layers and change the text you added. Make something like this:
